What you need before programming Sync 3

  • A Compatible Vehicle
    • On our order form, please see the dropdown for year, make, and model to see if your vehicle is compatible with a Sync 3 upgrade.
    • Please enter the information for your vehicle, that the Sync 3 unit is going to be installed in, NOT the information of the vehicle it was sourced from (if applicable).
    • The 17 Digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is required for all programming orders. We get data about your vehicle directly from Ford to help get your programming right the first time.
    • Please ensure you are selecting the correct version of Sync that your car has — orders with the wrong factory version of Sync selected will be cancelled.
