Want to make sure your Sync 3 setup is fully working with Apple CarPlay? These hubs are required for Sync 2 to Sync 3 setups, along with 4″ to Sync 3 Upgrades to ensure Apple CarPlay works correctly with Sync 3.
If Apple CarPlay does not work on your 2016 Ford, you’ll need to upgrade to one of these hubs and ensure your Sync version is updated past v2.3.
These USB hubs are fully compatible with Android Auto as well.

Hi Phillip! Thanks for your review. If loading music via an SD card was something you did often, you can actually do the same with this! Just load music onto a USB Stick instead, and you’ll see the USB Drive show up in Sources in the Audio Tab!
