You will receive a refurbished Sync 3 Screen with a new digitizer. Our Sync 3 displays can be used for upgrading from Sync 2 to Sync 3 or for a 4″ to 8″ Sync conversion.
This screen comes with a LVDS cable to connect to the APIM, but you’ll still need a module. The screen comes without brackets, but does have the torx screws for them.

This Sync 3 upgrade kit is exactly what I needed! It took about an hour to install it and the USB hub, and it is fully operational. Today, I installed a USB 3.0 flash drive (formatted exFAT) with 40GB of digital music on it. Works great! The new system took it without any complaints! No long delay reading the tracks.

Excellent quality. Pretty much OEM. People mention flickering but that is the auto brightness adjustment issue that’s present in even the later models (my wife has a 2018 escape and hers does it too). It’s not the units fault, just a sync 3/ ford quirk.
