Our ‘base’ 4″ to 8″ is a harness is the base of a modular harness system that can be used on many vehicle when paired with our other harnesses, sold as combinations on our site. By itself, this harness can be used to upgrade a number of vehicles, like the C-MAX, Kuga, Escape, B-MAX, Fiesta, Transit, Transit Connect, and more.

We also offer FREE programming files with your purchase, something no other online store does. This allows you to get up and running quickly using an OBDII dongle, without messing around with a bunch of settings or hex codes in FORScan.

    I bought my kit from Intelligentech.com. it came with everything you’d need for this upgrade except for the proper harness. So I ordered one from Naviupgrade. My kit came with all the bezel pieces a.d the head unit bracket. The original bracket for the cd player is plastic welded to the left and right bottom where the ac vents are. So if you melt through those 2 locations you can pull that out without hacking that bracket to pieces. If you don’t order from same place I did you would need to search part number based on a Titanium or SEL model Ford escape. Just FYI.

4" to 8" Sync to Sync 2/3 Base Upgrade Harness

Hi everyone,

Our 4″ to 8″ Sync 2 and Sync 3 harnesses are currently out of stock — and due to the newly announced 145% tariffs on Chinese imports by President Trump, we won’t be able to restock them for the foreseeable future.

For the past couple of years, these harnesses have been made in small batches of 100 through a vetted overseas factory, as U.S. manufacturers require much larger order quantities, and have much higher prices than we can realistically support. Even at $229 with free shipping, free programming files, and lifetime support, our margins have been thin on these harnesses.

With the added cost of tariffs, continuing production is no longer sustainable.

We’re exploring new options outside of China and hoping this is temporary, but for now, this product will remain unavailable. Other products on our site will remain available as they are sourced from the US.
